Patrick Bell is President and Broker of MainStreet Commercial Georgia, Inc., an independent commercial real estate brokerage serving businesses, property owners, investors, and developers throughout North Georgia.
A commercial real estate professional since 2012, Patrick has extensive experience in commercial sales and leasing, acquisitions, investment properties, land, property management, and asset management. His work is focused primarily throughout Forsyth County and the surrounding North Georgia market, where he has developed a strong understanding of local property values, development patterns, business growth, zoning, infrastructure, and the factors that influence commercial real estate decisions.
Patrick founded MainStreet Commercial Georgia with a straightforward purpose: to provide experienced, practical commercial real estate services to local businesses and investors who want knowledgeable representation without the unnecessary complexity often associated with large institutional firms. That philosophy is reflected in the company’s founding principle: Commercial Real Estate Services for Main Street, Not Wall Street™
Patrick brings a particularly broad perspective to commercial real estate because his experience extends well beyond brokerage. As a former Forsyth County Commissioner, he gained firsthand knowledge of zoning, land use, economic development, infrastructure planning, public policy, and the inner workings of local government. That experience gives him an added level of insight when assisting clients with commercial properties, development opportunities, land transactions, and other projects affected by local regulations and long-term growth patterns.
He has also spent much of his professional life as a business owner. Having owned and operated businesses since the age of 21, Patrick understands commercial real estate from the perspective of the people actually signing leases, buying buildings, making investments, managing employees, and taking financial risks. He believes good commercial real estate advice should be grounded in the realities of operating a business and owning property, not simply completing a transaction.
Patrick has held numerous leadership positions within the real estate industry. He served two consecutive terms as President of the 400 North Association of REALTORS® and was named the association’s REALTOR® of the Year. He also founded and chaired the association’s Commercial Council and has served in multiple leadership roles with Georgia REALTORS®.
At the state level, Patrick has served on committees and leadership groups addressing government affairs, commercial real estate, legal issues, finance, broker concerns, and professional standards. He has also served as a Regional Director for Georgia REALTORS®.
Patrick was among the first real estate professionals in Georgia to earn the Georgia Accredited Commercial Specialist (GACS) designation, a comprehensive commercial real estate certification program created and administered by Georgia REALTORS®. He also played a leadership role in the development of the program, helping advance commercial education and professional standards for REALTORS® throughout the state.
His background in local government and real estate has also made him a strong advocate for private property rights, responsible economic development, and policies that allow communities to grow while respecting the rights of property owners.
Patrick’s approach to commercial real estate is practical and direct. He believes clients deserve clear advice, realistic market analysis, responsive communication, and an honest assessment of both opportunities and risks. Whether representing a business looking for its next location, an owner leasing or selling a commercial property, an investor evaluating an acquisition, or a property owner seeking professional management, his goal is to help clients make informed decisions that support their long-term objectives.
Through MainStreet Commercial Georgia and his affiliated property management operations, Patrick remains actively involved in commercial brokerage, property and asset management, investment analysis, land transactions, and advisory work throughout North Georgia.
For Patrick, commercial real estate is ultimately about more than buildings and transactions. It is about helping local businesses grow, helping property owners protect and improve their investments, and strengthening the communities where people live and work.
